Bye-bye 1st grade!

And just like that he's off to 2nd grade. I don't know why, but 2nd grade just feels so much older than 1st...tho I know I'll say that again next year when we're in the same position. Micah's had such a great year and I've seen him really come out of his shell in his class. Sometimes not in the best way (poor Mrs. Newman and her talkative group!) but he really formed some good little friendships in his class and it's been fun to watch him grow. I'm also excited that Reid will be at the same school with Micah next year - that makes it feel even more real...like my boys are really growing up!

The littles decided to buy small bouncy balls today and gave one to each of the kiddos getting off the bus with the phrase "hope you enjoy bouncing in to summer" lol. I just love it - yay summer!!

Reid's last year of preschool!

Just like I was writing last week about my baby growing up, I feel the exact same thing with my middle baby. Reid is in preschool 4's, aka pre-k, and will be heading to kindergarten next year! He's so excited. So.Excited!!! It's fun to be Reid's mommy and watch him learn and grow. He has such an infectious smile and just lights up the room with it, and I'm sure he's going to do great in his class this year! He's going three days a week, monday-tuesday-wednesday, in the afternoon. Reid, I'm so proud of you and am excited to see how this year goes!

1st grade!!!

My baby's growing up!!  How is it possible he started 1st grade today? I feel like this will be a recurring theme every single school year. I'm so proud of Micah and just know he'll flourish this year. Look at the smiles in these pictures. He's growing up way too fast, and I'm just trying to soak in the precious moments and hugs and kisses while he'll still let me. I love you Micah Nathaniel. Have a great day and start 1st grade out with a bang!
