Random September

It's been a fun month, and here's the end compilation of our random activities that didn't warrant a separate posting.  From chick-fil-a hats to Frodo playing to Wheaton football games to my hubby waking up at 4:50am to bike 20miles with me while I run it to Micah drawing me a lovely self-portrait (a bit too much resembling one Miss Piggy...) we had a great time enjoying the nice weather outside and fun places that fall brings on.

Jonamac Apple Orchard

This is a regular in our fall activities - visiting the apple orchard.  And this year we were able to do it with a new family we've become friends with through our church and nearby neighborhood.  So fun getting to meet new people and watch our kids become friends too :)  Makes my heart happy.

Tank fun at Catigny

I decided to take the kiddos to Catigny, since Gemma's giving up her morning nap and Micah doesn't have school til the afternoon.  What a beautiful place to spend a morning.  The boys were getting along pretty well and it was a good time to walk around, climb on tanks, eat lunch, and play at the park.  Gemma's getting all too big and independent...where has my little girl gone?? :)  Love being a stay-at-home-mom and able to do these fun activities with the kids.

Touch-A-Truck

We headed out to Blackberry Farm last week, only to find out that they were having Touch-A-Truck-Day as well.  What a fun surprise that the boys gladly participated in.  Gemma wasn't able to do too much, but was able to enjoy our time inside the farm afterwards.  Soaking in these last moments of outdoor activities before the places close and it becomes too cold!
