Reid and Jesus

This is a night every parent dreams of...knowing your children have asked Jesus in to their heart and are desiring to life their life for Him. Tonight was that night with Reid and it is absolutely one of the best nights of my life, for sure of my parenting life.  We were talking at bedtime about what it means to live for Christ and how Micah has asked Jesus in his heart, and then I asked Reid if he wanted to do the same and he said yes! Micah was just adorable, and asked if he could lead him in the prayer, which I said ok to, and it went something like this:

M: Okay Reidees, repeat after me. Dear Jesus
R: Dear Jesus
M: I must obey my Mommy and Daddy

Haha. Micah was just so sincere and wanting to lead Reid in his sinners prayer.  I asked him if he would be ok letting me lead him and then he could hear and they could talk after. There are just some moments that are so sacred and this is one of them. I loved watching my little Reidees ask Jesus in his heart and also witness the heart-warming moments of him and Micah while making a decision that is so important. And watching my 4 and 6 year old boys handle these moments with maturity and love and awe... I just want to cherish these moments and soak them in.

Life can sometimes be so hard, and parenting 3 littles is tough. It's not easy, but it's also one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Thank you, Lord, for trusting me to care for these three kiddos. May they come to know you more and more each day and may I be able to do my absolute best to point them towards you!
