I'm Sitting Up!

This week has been huge for Reid!  From rocking on all fours, to sitting unassisted, to waking only once at night (only one time, but counts because he hasn't done that in 5 1/2 months...ie, his whole life:)) to breaking his first tooth, chalk up this past week as one for the memory books.  It's no wonder his sleep has been so inconsistent this week, as there's just so much to be working on that sleep was not a priority :)  It might also explain why he did go one night with only waking once, haha.

It is just such a joy to watch Reid learning more and more and becoming that much more interactive throughout the day.  He really is such a happy, content little boy and even with his tooth popping through hasn't been too fussy.  Hopefully that's a sign of how he'll deal with all of his teeth because I know this is just the beginning.

Each day brings such happiness and joy to my life, and I just continue to marvel at the blessings Reid and Micah are to our family.  Long ago are the days when it was just Christian and myself, and while I absolutely loved those moments as the two of us, and so look forward to date nights, I can't imagine my life without either of my two boys.

Below are some pictures of Reid's latest developmental growth.  Keep in mind this post is just a couple of days behind his rocking on all fours post.  This boy is growing too fast!  In addition to these events, I have switched him over permanently to size 3 diapers, and thus the baby Mickey and baby Minnie are now a regular Mickey and Pluto (just like Micah's size 5s!).  Just another telling factor of my baby growing up :(

Hmm, what's this?

Momma, it's a penguin!  And I got him from his post.

Oops...it is just a little tough to sit up without help.

Hey Momma, just a second, I'm rolling over here.

Can't.Lose.thePenguin.

Ah, this position is a little easier to play with him.

Okay, let's try this again and see how I do.

Hey Momma, is it okay if I grab him again? I promise I'll try and stay sitting up.
