Hiking fun in Gatlinburg!

Given the addition of the boys and their ages, Christian and I are not able to do the type of hiking we would typically like to do on a mountain vacation.  We still were wanting to find something manageable for all parties involved and came across Laurel Falls Trail.  Only a 1.3 mile hike on a paved road and everyone did phenomenal on the hike.  Micah practically ran half the way to the falls and while Reid was quite a bit fussy on the way, he enjoyed the water once we were there and ended up falling asleep on the hike back to the car.  Grandma and Grandpa also did great on the hike and I think everyone was pleased with our hike of choice.

Micah was so proud of himself for figuring out how to walk down a part of the trail he had hiked up with Daddy, all by himself.  Sweetest smile at the end of the video ;)

And Reid falling fast asleep in his home away from home (at least the first 3 months of his life!)

Post nap we were in search of a park, only to find them few and far between.  We finally did find one, and the boys were thoroughly pleased.  Parks are typically visited 4-5 times a week back home, and it had been about 5 days since they had seen one, so they both started running for it once we had parked.  Unfortunately it was quite heavily surrounded by mosquitos, which I am still paying for, but worth the price to see the joy on my boys' faces.

Day 3 is in the books and we are gearing up for our last full day in Gatlinburg.
