Christmas with the Lauffer side

We had a great time at our annual Lauffer side Christmas gathering.  For the past 5+ years we have headed out to Andy and Katie's house for a wonderful Italian feast, and this year did not disappoint.  It is a bit more chaotic than it used to be, but that is to be expected I guess when you included 3 kids 3 and under.  With at least one more on the way, the chaos is not going to disappear anytime soon - but I'd venture to say that we're all okay with that :)  The more the merrier, right?

Sweet Lilly, opening her birthday gift from October, since we hadn't been able to attend her party.

Sweet picture of Christian and Micah

While I get all the wrestling :)

Andy and Katie opening up gifts.

Mom and Dad Lauffer doing the same.

Another sweet shot, this time with Christian and Reid.  LOVE this picture!

Micah showing pure excitement.  This was the first year he really started to understand and get excited over Christmas and it was fun to be a part of the child's enjoyment.

Hogan's Heroes!  Lots of TV time ahead for Grandpa.

Reid's turn to open a gift - with big brother watching close by.

Lilly opening her gift from Uncle Christian, with Reid looking on from afar.

Daddy's turn!

Reid loved jumping off this box.  This was one of the 2 non-blurry shots I got.

This was the other.

Time for SANTA!  It was the kids first time seeing a Santa Claus and sitting on his lap (thanks Grandpa for putting on the suit!).  Micah was terrified at first, and when asked if it was Santa, he says "No it's not.  That's Grandpa."  Not easily tricked, haha.  After watching Lilly and Reid sit on his lap, he decided it wasn't too scary and decided to give it a try.
"Where are all the children?"

Lilly sitting as still as possible.

Reid actually giving us a look.

Micah realizing Santa's lap wasn't too scary - and we actually got a smile!

Reid taking it all in...

And Santa's belly's starting to split, haha.

We had a great time celebrating with Christian's side of the family and certainly look forward to many, many more years!  Maybe there'll even be an annual appearance of Santa Claus :)
