Time to Sled!

It's amazing how exciting the first snow is, especially for a child.  I love the whiteness that covers everywhere, and the beauty that it brings.  But I also like to observe it from inside the warmth of my house!  That doesn't happen so easily with an excited little 3 year old who can't wait to go out in the snow.  "If we put on my snow pants, and coat, and hat and gloves, I'll be okay Mommy."  Sheesh.  Alright Micah :)

Thankfully we have a little hill right outside our townhouse (a plus to our being stuck here!) so this past Monday after I put Reid down for his nap, Micah and I bundled up and headed outside for a few minutes of fun!

Safe to say this little boy was ecstatic to be outside!

And here we go!

but that didn't take the joy out of this little boy.

Might I add that Micah was squeezed into a 24 month snowsuit.  Oops!  With last year's limited snow, I didn't think it was worth buying a larger size so we squeezed him into the 24 month suit last year.  Well, Monday was quite the squeeze!  Thus the pants not staying put over his boot, and about 2-3 inches his poor little leg was bright red and freezing cold.  Time to invest in a size that fits, I'm afraid :)
