9 months already!!?!

Oh my goodness - Gemma you are already nine months!  It's been an interesting month, mid-way through the month we were hit hard with a stomach bug that knocked everyone but Christian down HARD!  In the midst of it though, Gemma kept her style and learned how to pull up on things, climb the stairs, and give us the sweetest little faces.  Sadly, that's the biggest memory that I have from Gemma's 9th month!

Dr. stats: 28 inches long (64%), 18pounds 7ounces (55%), and 17.76" (82%) - our baby girl has grown a big head!

Things to remember:

• how you have become quite mobile, miss crawler!
• how you popped through tooth number 2
• how you learned how to pull up to stand, and are slowly learning how to get back down (gracefully)
• how you started feeding yourself, primarily puffs!  we're starting a good stage with the self-feeding :) 
• how much you love to eat...like you're ravenous and haven't eaten in months
• how much you love your brothers, and how sweet they are both with you.  Reid's started giving you so much attention in a sweet little voice, and your face just lights up with it
• how you love to say "dada" especially when you're content and happy
• how you took your first bath in the tub with no baby tub and you LOVE your bath...big girl you are, Gemma Jams!
• how your night sleep is getting pretty good but you have some random and sporadic nights still so you're not quite consistent yet
• how you discovered the stairs this month and have not learned the word "no" yet, so therefore providing vigilance on my part!!
• how you love your mommy and daddy - and have entered a small world of separation anxiety, but I'm ok with that :) 

We love you so much sweet pea!  So, so much.  You bring delight and chaos and happiness and so much love to our lives.  Stay small baby girl...stay small!
