Bye McIntosh Family :(

We've had such a great time with Kari and her family here the past 10 days. It's been chaotic and loud and crazy and amazing. While I know I'll look forward to having my house back to myself a little, I also know I'll miss every single moment of our time with Kari and Nolan and Quin. I just don't understand sometimes why God has called my sister across the ocean to a different continent, but I do know she is doing His work and I can't be upset about that. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, and I know this is the case here. With all of my siblings, really, as I have such an innate desire to be in closer proximity with my entire family. And for whatever reason, that's not how my family has chosen to live, as we are all across the US and in Africa, so we accept where we are and move forward. And knowing we won't be seeing Kari and company for most likely 3 years makes my heart hurt just a little. So we soaked in our moments with them and said our sad goodbyes, knowing they're heading back home and where they are called to be and praising God for his provision in their lives. We love you guys and pray for the day we're together again! Don't forget your aunt and uncle and cousins over here, Nolan and Quin :)
