Whistler

We debated whether to do Grouse Mountain or Whistler, chose the latter, and are so glad we did! We had the most perfect weather and could not have asked for a better day:) The drive from Vancouver was just under 2 hours, and apparently was greatly improved with the 2010 Winter Olympics. We went sightseeing around the cute, quaint town, took a gondola ride up one mountain, and then across one peak to another and back down, and had a great day as a family! We felt so blessed to be able to experience the beauty (and questioned, again, why we live in the stinkin' midwest)

Beautiful little town!

How cute is this north face baby:)

Olympic rings!

On the way up the gondola ride.

Video from the gondola.

Riding the "Peak to Peak" gondola...beautiful!

We were so out of place here with our stroller, baby and me in leather boots! Everyone else was in skiing gear, with their skiis on, and we felt kind of silly...but the view was so beautiful it was absolutely worth it!

Just a little taste of the scenery on our drive to/from Vancouver.

"Bye Whistler! I had a good time, but am now ready for bed!"
