We are in the process of choosing our daycare provider for next year for Micah...and it is crazy how scary it can be when you don't know the people from any personal recommendations. This past year we have been blessed to have our friend Noelle watch Micah, which was such a wonderful gift. We knew and trusted Noelle, she has 3 kids of her own, and we knew she'd do a great job. Unfortunately she isn't able to watch him again next year, and after a few attempts at following various leads, we were left to finding our sitter through care.com.
We have interviewed 4 people thus far, and are down to 2, and I am asking for prayer for wisdom as we make this decision. We want to feel peace and trust that Micah is in the right hands next year. The 2 people we are down to each have pros and cons, but we truly believe that both would give Micah good care. There are soooo many factors to consider when finding care (aside from the obvious of trusting your child with them, the location, the price, the set-up of the house, the other children that will be there when he is there, etc.) and it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
I know God answers prayers and speaks to His children, and so I am asking for that to be done right now as we are at that point. I pray, Lord, that you will speak to us and give us peace and wisdom and discernment as we figure out who Micah would best be suited with next year. Amen.
