My brother and his family came up to visit us a couple of weeks ago, and we had a blast! They have a sweet baby girl, Eleanor, whom we had yet to meet unfortunately, and she was born at the beginning of January! Life has been crazy, and we haven't even been down to St.Louis since Christmas, so I was grateful and excited that Mike and company decided to come and visit. We really enjoyed our time together, and it was fun to watch all the cousins interact. Luke and Micah really hit it off and it makes me wish we were living closer together so that they could hang out more frequently.
Micah was as sweet as can be with Eleanor. Makes me excited to think how he'll continue to be with Gemma as she gets older!
Mike cut the grass for me, since Christian was still in Sydney and found a "bug" for Micah as a surprise. When Micah woke up, he let this "bug" out... and realized it was a frog!!
Eleanor was quite interested in baby Gemma. It's fun to think there are two little girls in the family so close in age! Family get-togethers are going to be really fun in the future with all the kids!!
Popsicles for dessert! I love that I said "say popsicles" and my two boys throw their hands in the air, while Luke slouches back in his seat and puts the popsicle in his mouth. Classic. Can you tell who has been used to the camera in their faces since they were born?? lol.
Friday we headed out to Blackberry Farm, and thankfully Christian took the day off of work to join. I WOULD NOT have survived with the 3 kids by myself at this place! No way.
Waiting for the train.
Love the family pic!!
Luke, Deanna and Eleanor
Checking out his map on the train.
Cheese.
Fun family pic here too! (And I think it's safe to announce that Deanna is pregnant! Due in February next year...this baby and Eleanor will be 13 months apart!)
Waiting for the carousel.
Note Gemma in the picture :)
The girls!
Back on the train.
Reidees and Daddy selfies.
Back home and chillin'
S'mores!
Love this picture of Luke!
Mike holding Gemma. He was so sweet with her.
Saturday the crew headed out to Red Oak Nature Center. The boys biked there - Micah included! Mike carried Luke and Reid in the trailer and Christian also biked. Deanna met them with Eleanor after her nap, and I stayed back with Gemma while she napped. Looks like they all had a great time!
The cave.
I love how Micah kept his bike helmet on the entire time.
Throwing rocks!
Saturday night we headed out to dinner and Kilwins before The Fords headed back home.
Notice Luke's improvement on the "cheese" pictures.
He's even smiling here:)
Siblings and their babies.
