Gemma Jams is 6 months!

I can't believe she's half a year!  Seriously, where has time gone?  It's not been easy, some days have been extremely tough, but this sweet girl has been a blessing and a joy and I'm more than grateful for what she's brought to our family.  Month 6 has been a good month for her too.  She's learned about her feet, learned how to move around quite quickly on the floor without actually crawling, and continues to bless us with smiles and contentedness.  This girl's happy go lucky demeanor has been a great asset to our rambunctious boys and we're thankful for the fun she brings.  Micah is still completely obsessed with her, and Reid has continued to grow in excitement to see her around.

She gave us some good smiles with Mickey this month too, unlike month five.  Maybe it's because I had her in a pink onesie in month 5, haha.

6 month dr stats: 16pounds, 7 ounces (57%),
                            26.25inches (67%),
                            16.7cm head circumference (56%)

Things to remember:
  • How you discovered your feet this month
  • How you've learned to sit without help for a few minutes until you topple back on your head or forward on your face
  • How content and easy going you are for the most part
  • How much you've grown to love Sophie the giraffe
  • How you begun liking the jumparoo and even try bouncing in your exersaucer now
  • How much you love your big brother Micah...he CAN NOT keep away from you, causing you to cry as well, but you'll also give the best belly laughs when he's entertaining you
  • How you've learned how to spin and spin on your belly around the room, as well as roll like crazy...you're very mobile for not actually being able to crawl yet!
  • How nap times are not as consistent as I'd like them to be, but we'll get there eventually
  • How night time sleep is also not as consistent as I'd like it to be, but we'll get there eventually
  • How much you love your daddy.  Mommy too, but your face just lights up when Daddy's around, or even if you hear Daddy's voice.  So much so, that you COULD NOT handle facetiming with Daddy while he was in Berlin because you couldn't understand why you couldn't physically touch him!

We love you Gemma Jams!!  You're such a sparkle in our lives and I can't believe we're already half-way through your first year.  Slow down, time, slow down!
