Yesterday was a pretty exciting day. We saw Santa. First time ever. Well, actually, Micah saw him when he was 2, and didn't do so well, but that was the only time any of our kids have ever visited Santa. We had heard Santa would be making an appearance at Mooseheart, which also happened to have 1.8 miles worth of lights and is basically in our backyard. We had to go, and I'm really glad we did. The kids loved the lights, loved meeting up with the Sjogrens while in line for Santa, and loved a fun family night out. On the way home, Micah even exclaimed "This was FUN!" unprompted, and that is music to a parent's ear. And this morning Reid woke up, and I heard him singing "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells..." Not quite "Away in a Manger" but cute to hear nonetheless.
Out at Portillos for our pre-viewing meal.
Just a few of the light displays
Candy Canes!
Having fun wrestling in the gym while Mom and Dad waited in line.
Clearly Isaac and Gemma are thrilled to be meeting the man in the red suit, lol.
Sweet baby girl!
I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with these Santa pictures. Santa was pretty impressive and the kids did well.
Micah telling Santa what he wants for Christmas.
And a quick shot with me too - Gemma was pretty intrigued with Santa's beard...
And Sants wasn't quite sure what to make of that, hahaha.
Past her prime and ready for bed.
Merry Christmas!
Great pictures - what fun!
