Gingerbread Train

We've been in to the Christmas spirit this year much earlier than I typically am...having our families here last week for Thanksgiving and Gemma's dedication help spur that along, as we wanted to have our house decorated before they came.  Having a new house has also helped us get in the Christmas spirit earlier, as we were excited to decorate a new place and see how things would look for the first time!  Our kids are taking our cues (or we're taking theirs, lol) and Micah has been begging to do a gingerbread house.  We did one last year at my parents house - tried to get all the families to participate - and will probably try and do one again this year.  But I knew Micah wouldn't be able to wait until then, so he was able to convince me to get a second gingerbread (train this time) and we worked on it with Nana Kay last week!  It took a bit of effort to keep the train together...in Micah's words "This is not as easy as it looks!" but they boys really enjoyed decorating the train and I think it was a fun memory maker for all parties involved.
