At the beginning of April we headed down to St. Louis to visit family as we were waiting for the arrival of my sister's twins. Micah was on spring break (what is spring break when you're in pre-k, tho, really?? :) ) but it still gave us a good opportunity to go down without worrying about missing school. We had a great time and did a lot of fun stuff, culminating in the addition of two new cousins. More posts to follow, but here's the first of our time in the Lou.
A trip up to Target via walking, as my parents neighborhood is right down the road.
Me and my crew. The boys riding tools (balance bike and scooter) were on the stroller and they were each with their respective baskets.
The boys were actually playing together quite well this week! This was one example...
Bird watching with the binoculars and telescope :)
Firewood fun
Another walk at a park, going to feed the ducks.
I love them standing here with their helmets on searching for wildlife :)
Christian and I had the privilege of accompanying Kari and Josh on their last meal before heading to the hospital to drastically change their lives. I love how Kari's belly completely covers mine... Josh was hilarious at this meal. "I'm doing it. Chicken and waffles. And a side of hash browns. And a mountain dew!" bwahahahahaha
Visiting sweet baby Peter who had just gotten out of the hospital with a bad bout of RSV.
Such a little peanut! My kids with their newest cousin (for a couple of days!)
Micah is so sweet with babies...he loves them so much.
Mine and my brother's kids. Eleanor, Micah, Luke, Peter, Gemma and Reid. 6 kids under 5 between the two of us!!
My boys watching their show after nap and Gemma wanting to join in on the fun.
