Sick Baby Boy

I wrote in Reid's 11 month post about him feeling a little off with a fever...well, that fever lasted 3 solid days and once it disappeared a crazy rash appeared in its place.  And this rash was everywhere!!  All over his tummy, back, legs, arms, neck, face...poor baby was vocered.  Christian did a quick search last night and self-diagnosed Reid with roseola, which was confirmed today when I put a call in to his pediatrician. 

He finally ate a decent lunch today, which was the first time since Monday's lunch, and thankfully I feel we are on the mend...we are just waiting for this rash to disappear! 

Poor baby was so sick!  Just lethargic, swollen and red eyes, irritable, needy and tired...it's been a long week to say the least! We did catch a few glimpses of Reid smiles...mostly from something big brother was doing, as in the below pictures:

I tried to get us out of the house a little because all I was doing was carrying Reid around when at home or he would be in endless tears from being just so miserable.  But, as I said, we are finally on the mend, and while he's not back to normal, here's him eating today and laughing at Micah, again.  If you look closely enough, not only can you see the rash all over his face, but in the last laughing picture you can see his 5th tooth that has made its appearance!

Month 12 has come in with a bang, and I hope this is the most sickness he encounters this month. I feel like we are finally seeing some of the cold temperatures disappearing and are eagerly awaiting the playing outside weather to come, and I want to have healthy boys to go play with outside, too!!
