Snow Cream!

 

This week we had about 9 inches of snow fall, in March no less, and were finally able to get out and enjoy it yesterday.  While Reid was napping, Micah and I headed out our front door and did some sledding, snow balls and snow angles.  It was actually the first time I had been out in the snow with Micah this year and I was grateful for the abundance that fell late in the season to give us a chance before spring hits us.  He loved making the snow balls and throwing them, as well as our walking in the deep snow and falling as we tried to climb up the hill.  Fun memories with my little boy.

Included in those fun memories were the making of snow cream and hot chocolate.  While the hot chocolate has become a tradition after sledding outside, I'm hoping the snow cream can become a part of that tradition as well.  Micah enjoyed putting the snow cream in to his hot chocolate, and therefore ending up drinking his chocolate milk with a straw ;)
