Birthday Week of Fun!

It's been a fun week of getting out and about at night, and Christian and I enjoying some kid-free dates.  With Josh and Kari staying with us for the last 10 days, we have tried to take advantage of having babysitting options in-house in exchange for providing food, shelter, etc :)  AND, I know my boys love spending time with their Aunt and Uncle they get to see once a year...at least for now...

In addition to that, it was my birthday on Monday (and might I say, I feel way older this year?!!?), so Christian and I also went out for a birthday dinner.  We had neglected to take a picture for our anniversary dinner this year - and I try and do that to frame a picture every year - so I was working on getting a shot of that too.  Thus the many pictures of the two of us :)

Christian and I headed out to a restaurant in Westmont called "Amber" for my birthday.  We had excellent food.  Not so much service.  But food was amazing!  I have the best husband...

Two nights later we headed out to a Q-BBQ in downtown Naperville with some friends.  Great company and great food makes for a win-win night.  Add in some great clothing deals at White House Black Market (both tops I am wearing in these pictures are from there!) and it makes for a win-win-win!

Two nights after that we headed out to Bien Trucha, another new restaurant for us, in Geneva with friends.  We were definitely taking advantage of the live-in babysitters, knowing it'll be a long time before that happens again.

We had a great week, enjoying time with friends as well as date nights ourselves!  Thank you Josh and Kari for all the opportunities to be able to spend out as well as your time with the boys.  I know they loved spending time with you!
