Josh and Kari came up last Tuesday, and we have thoroughly been enjoying our time with them. Micah has always been enthralled with them, and Reid warmed up extremely quick to both as well. It's really fun to watch your children interact and be excited with your family and my boys are definitely going to miss having them around. Micah was out of control happy - so much so, that he decided he didn't want to go to the library to turn in the reading log he's been working on for a month now because he wanted to stay back home with Uncle Josh and Aunt Kari. Such sweet moments.
While they are here, we have free babysitting opporunities, and one of those included Reid staying home so Christian and I could take Micah to his very first movie experience It was awesome. Really, one of my favorite moments we've had with Micah in awhile. He was sooooo excited (and he doesn't really even know who Mike and Sully are, though we showed him some video clips of the original Monsters, Inc to try and help familiarize himself with them). It was so cute watching his face light up and loving the "Really BIG TV!!" We went to a theatre that also served food during the movie, so we ate popcorn and dinner as well. Micah loved it, and I'm sure we'll try and do it again in the future!
At home, about to leave on our movie excursion.
So excited to be going go the movie! Moments like these are making me love the 3s! What a blast this kid is :)
In line, waiting to be let in to the movie.
Pointing out life size Mike and Sully.
"Mike and Sully!"
Getting antsy, just wanting to get inside.
POPCORN!!!
In a zone - love this picture!
Micah didn't want to take a picture with the poster, so I did instead :)
What a fun night! And Reid did great with Josh and Kari, making it a win-win all around.
