Last Day of Pre-K Picnic

Micah's last day of pre-k was last Friday, and culminated with a park picnic with all of his classmates.  It was fun to watch him interact in the setting of his class and I really feel like he's grown up socially a bit this year, which was my ultimate goal with pre-school this year.  I wasn't concerned on the academic front with Micah, but really wanted to see him mature a bit on the social scene and it's been a joy to watch that happen.

How is it possible he grew up that much???

Micah with his buddy Luke on the last day at school.

I've said it a thousand times, but Micah really likes to make projects for his friends and classmates and he ended preschool making hearts for all of his preschoolers and drawing something that they really liked on that heart ("to let them know that I love them.")  How sweet is that??  So while I didn't want parents to think I had the creeper kid, lol, I also didn't want to squash Micah's desire to hand something out that he had thoughtfully created.

Enter our pictures.

Handing them all out :)
