St. Louis Trip

We headed back to St. Louis last weekend for a multitude of reasons, but primarily to see my brother graduate from Covenant Seminary.  He's worked very hard the past 3 years to get his Masters in Divinity degree while supporting his family that has grown from 3 to 5 in that timeframe.  He's also accepted the call to be the campus pastor of the University of Arkansas (Razorbacks!) and will be moving there next week!  I'm so proud of him and look forward to watching the Lord use him among the college campus.

An added bonus to going back to St. Louis was that we got to see the babies again, which we only saw briefly in the hospital last time we were down.  Micah really has a liking to babies and is so sweet with them, and it just melts my heart to watch him interact with his cousins, including Peter (my brother's newest addition).  I swear it won't surprise me if he does something with kids in the future!!

I love them watching each other here.

All I wanted to do was be able to hold both babies at once :)

Mission accomplished!

I mean, how sweet is this picture??!?  Doesn't it just melt your heart the way they are holding each other while sleeping?

Another added bonus, for Christian, was being able to attend the Cardinals/Tigers baseball game.  There happened to be a 90 minute rain delay while there, but they were all able to stay dry and eventually able to enjoy the game.  My parents, Josh and Kari and Nolan and Quin, and Christian were all at the game.  I stayed back with my kiddos watching it on TV instead ;)

Relaxing during the rain delay...

My parents with their newest grand babies.

Micah and Christian played rivers, roads and rails the whole weekend.  They loved it!

Yet another bonus to going to STL was that the twins were dedicated at church that weekend and we were able to be there for it!  Gemma didn't stay in the service too long, however, so we hung out at the train table for awhile, haha.

And all three kiddos wiped after our fun but short weekend!  This lasted about 45 minutes for the boys and 90 minutes for Gemma.
