Artist in the Making

Micah got an easel from us for Christmas this year, while Grandma and Grandpa provided all the necessary accessories.  We finally had a chance to break out the painting part of the easel, and Micah loved it!  His attention span was still not quite long enough to really get in to it, but he did do 2 pages worth of Micah originals.

 

If you look closely enough, you can see Micah's working on his name on that paper. The "M" is in the middle in red (up down, up down). The "i" is just below the M with the dot in the M. The "c" is actually a backwards c below the i, and the "a" is a wild circle on the right hand side. He then decided he was done and moved to the bottom of the canvas. Still, I think he did a great job and am confident he will be able to spell his name soon!
